What Responsible Gaming Means

Responsible gaming is the practice of treating real-money play as a form of paid entertainment — never as a way to make money, recover losses, or escape stress. For the vast majority of players, gaming is a harmless pastime enjoyed in moderation. It becomes a problem only when it stops being a choice and starts affecting your finances, relationships, work or wellbeing.

365in is an independent affiliate platform. We do not operate gaming services ourselves, but we believe everyone who follows our links should have the information they need to play safely. The principles below apply on any platform you choose to use.

  • Set a budget before you play. Decide how much you can comfortably afford to lose, and treat it as the price of entertainment — like a cinema ticket.
  • Set a time limit. Long, unbroken sessions cloud judgement. Take regular breaks and step away when your time is up.
  • Never chase losses. Trying to win back money you have lost is the single most common path to harm. Losses are part of the game, not a debt to recover.
  • Only play with money you own. Never borrow, use funds meant for bills, or play on credit.
  • Keep it balanced. Gaming should be one small part of a full life, not a replacement for sleep, work, family or friends.

Warning Signs to Watch For

Problem gambling rarely appears overnight. It builds gradually, which is why recognising the early signs in yourself or someone close to you matters so much. If several of the following feel familiar, it may be time to pause and seek support.

  • You spend more money or time on gaming than you planned, and find it hard to stop once you start.
  • You chase losses — betting more to try to win back money you have already lost.
  • You borrow money, sell possessions or neglect bills to keep playing.
  • You hide your gaming, lie about how much you play, or feel guilt and secrecy around it.
  • Gaming is affecting your sleep, mood, work, studies or relationships.
  • You feel anxious, irritable or restless when you try to cut down or stop playing.

Practical tools that make a real difference

Most reputable platforms — including 365in — offer these features built into the app. Knowing they exist is the first step to using them.

💰

Deposit limits

Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can add to your wallet. Once the limit is reached, the top-up option locks for the rest of that period. Increases take 24–48 hours to come into effect; decreases apply immediately.

📉

Loss limits

A loss limit stops further play automatically once your net losses for the day or week reach your pre-set amount. It removes the option to chase by making it technically impossible once the threshold is hit.

⏱️

Session time reminders

Set a timer and the app will notify you when your session reaches that length. You're not automatically kicked out — the prompt is a nudge to decide consciously whether to continue or close the app.

🔒

Cool-off periods

A short break of 24 hours to 30 days that locks your account temporarily. Useful if you notice yourself slipping into unhealthy patterns but aren't ready for a full exclusion. The lock cannot be reversed during the chosen period.

🚫

Self-exclusion

A firm, extended account block — typically six months, one year or permanently. During a self-exclusion you cannot register a new account. This is the strongest tool available and is recommended if the lighter tools haven't been enough.

Stop marketing emails

Email affiliate@get365in.net to be removed from all promotional communications. Removing yourself from bonus and deposit-prompt emails is a practical step that many people overlook but find genuinely helpful.

How to Request Self-Exclusion

If you would like to request self-exclusion, a cool-off period or any account limit — or if you want us to stop sending you promotional communications — contact our team at affiliate@get365in.net. Include the email address associated with your account, the type of restriction you want, and the period or level you prefer. We will respond promptly and treat every request with full confidentiality.

For exclusion on the gaming platform itself, please also raise the request directly with the official 365in operator support — they hold account access and can action technical restrictions immediately. The two requests (to us and to the operator) work together.

Get Help — NIMHANS Helpline

If gambling is causing you distress, you are not alone and help is free and confidential. The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) operates a national toll-free mental health helpline that includes support for behavioural addictions such as gambling.

NIMHANS National Helpline: 14416 (toll-free, available across India). The helpline offers free, confidential counselling and can guide you towards local support and treatment. You can also reach the alternate number 1800-891-4416.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or crisis, please contact your local emergency services right away. Speaking to a trusted friend or family member is also a powerful first step.

External Resources

The following organisations and resources provide information, self-assessment tools and support for anyone affected by problem gambling. (These are independent third parties; we are not affiliated with them.)

  • NIMHANS Centre for Well-Being — counselling and de-addiction support services in India.
  • Gamblers Anonymous — peer-support fellowship with meetings and online resources for people who want to stop gambling.
  • GamCare — free information, advice and self-help tools for anyone affected by gambling harm.
  • BeGambleAware — guidance on setting limits, taking breaks and finding treatment.
  • iGaming India responsible-play resources — general awareness material on safer gaming practices for Indian players.

Remember: gaming is meant to be entertainment. If it ever stops being fun, it is always okay to stop, take a break, or ask for help. Read more across our FAQ or reach us any time at affiliate@get365in.net.
